Tradition and heritage combine with international flair to create a fairytale atmosphere. Kirchberg comes alive during Advent with an enchanting atmosphere like no other winter sport resort in the Alps. Traditional handicrafts including wood carving, basket weaving and pottery are on display at the Christmas market which opens at 1pm on 10 December 2017, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus in a horse-drawn carriage at 4.30pm. Kirchberg celebrates the end of the Christmas season on 26 December with a Christmas concert in the parish church at 5pm.

Advent and Christmas are highlights on the Tyrolean calendar.
