The 70 rooms, suites and apartments at SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof are all furnished in a typically Tyrolean style. No two rooms are the same thanks to a thoughtful approach to interiors. Old paintings adorn the walls, antique country furniture bears witness to the region’s ancient traditions of craftsmanship, and rare wood carvings and hand-crafted timber panelling create a warm and comfortable ambience. Room sizes vary between 40sqm and 114sqm. Double rooms are extremely spacious and the hotel’s 14 suites are very impressive – some feature their own sauna, heart-shaped bathtub, walk-in wardrobe and up to three separate bedrooms! Every room offers spectacular views from its balcony.
The culinary offerings at SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof are focused on locally sourced, seasonal foods, such as lamb from the hotel’s own farm and game from their own preserve. The local produce is complemented by specialities from around the world.
A day at the SPA-HOTEL Jagdhof starts with a lavish breakfast buffet. Cold meats, cheeses, freshly made egg dishes, wholesome mueslis, yoghurts, bread, pastries and sweet titbits from the patisserie are available every day until 11am – perfect for that well-deserved holiday lie-in!
In the afternoon, the hotel offers a selection of cakes that are included in the half-board package, or you can choose a snack from the à la carte menu and enjoy it on the terrace, in the wildlife garden, or by the pool.
In the evening, enjoy fine dining in the award-winning Hubertus Stube restaurant. Or for a unique dining experience, guests have the option of dining in Tyrol’s smallest restaurant, the Gourmet Gondola! This disused cable car has been beautifully converted into a restaurant for up to six guests. Foodies can feast on a range of savoury and sweet fondues while enjoying spectacular views of the mountains. During the summer months, enjoy a weekly barbecue event at the Stadel barn, while in the winter there’s fun food for sharing with hot hat and fondue evenings.
The hotel’s wine cellar is one of Austria’s finest – housing an impressive 20,000 bottles including Romanée-Conti, Château Mouton Rothschild, Masseto by Tenuta dell’Ornellaia and Screaming Eagle. Enjoy weekly evening tastings with the sommelier or special, exclusive Wine Days events.
jSPA Cuisine is the half board option for healthy, energy-boosting foods.
