The 49 rooms and suites at the GROSSARLER HOF present an attractive alliance of form and function: spacious, comfortable and inviting spaces finished with a discerning eye for detail. In the stylish restaurant – all wooden panelling and a lovely tiled stove so typical of the region – guests enjoy the GROSSARLER HOF’s ‘almost’ full board of breakfast, afternoon Jause and a four-course evening meal. The superb wine cellar is home to a host of fine wines, amongst them many an Austrian gem that may be unfamiliar, but well worth getting to know. The hotel hosts regular wine tastings and events in this atmospheric, vaulted space.

The Erlenreich Relax & SPA transports you into the presence of the alder. This member of the birch family is considered an invigorating yet soothing medicinal plant – and is also said to have given Grossarl its name.
