Every year, 7,000 years of art history from the Old World and the New World come together in Maastricht to form the Netherlands’ most important art and antiques fair. TEFAF was born in Maastricht, when two existing fairs merged to become a bold new entity. In 1988 it was named The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) and relocated to the newly built Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre (MECC). TEFAF quickly became one of the most renowned fairs of art and antiques from all over the world.
At TEFAF Maastricht 2020, over 275 prestigious dealers from some 20 countries will present their works of art – from paintings, antiques and classical antiquities to modern and contemporary art, photography, jewellery and 20th century design.
