The Schlosshotel Fiss has 135 rooms, spread across two wings of the hotel. Each is individually designed, with a timelessly elegant style that incorporates precious wood and fine leather details. Many rooms have their own balconies, and panorama rooms come with large windows to make the most of the hotel’s breathtaking surroundings.
You can choose from a range of suites, each named after a different precious stone, with luxurious extras such as four-poster beds, traditional tiled stoves and separate dressing rooms. Or for families, a selection of spacious one- to three-bedroom suites accommodate up to six people in style and comfort.
Regional, sustainable ingredients are at the heart of the Schlosshotel Fiss’ slow food philosophy. Head Chef Mathias Seidel creates unique flavours using the best produce from the region and a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques.
A day at the Schlosshotel Fiss starts with a ‘slow food’ breakfast buffet to be savoured, with fresh Tyrolean breads, eggs, cheese milk and jam sourced from local farms. That’s followed by afternoon tea – featuring traditional Austrian delicacies such as Tyrolean Gröstl and Kaiserschmarrn, a wellbeing snacks buffet at the spa bistro restaurant and a four-course dinner. Further gourmet highlights include the open kitchen, twice weekly starter buffet, weekly dessert buffet and themed nights with seasonal specialities, like a summer barbecue or foodie walk.
The Beef Club at the Schlosshotel Fiss is a very special restaurant. It’s informal but with a fine-dining ambience. Enjoy an exceptional range of steaks – available every evening.
The hotel’s wine cellar features 500 wines to appeal to every palate, with a focus on Austrian wines as well as top international wines such as Pingus, Opus and Château Petrus, and rarities like Ornellaia Bianco. Or try one of the hotel’s signature drinks at the bar.

Family facilities at the Schlosshotel Fiss are second to none. There are generous, comfortable family rooms and suites, a dedicated Family Spa featuring a bio sauna, family steam room and Finnish sauna, the Aqua Monte Waterworld, and the children’s Splash Waterworld with 48m double-loop tube slide, wave slide and rocking bay.

And the teenagers’ media room comes with a pool table, table football, surf stations, consoles, air hockey and in-house cinema to ensure a fun-packed holiday. Schlosshotel Fiss is located at 1,436m altitude in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region of the Western Tyrol. It’s a 1-hour drive from Innsbruck or 2.5 hours from Munich or Bolzano. The nearest train station is in Landeck, a 30-minute transfer away.
