Domaine La Butte aux Bois launches SPA Retreat

An incomparable new lifestyle experience

Domaine La Butte aux Bois, Lanaken, Belgium, has announced the opening of Spa Retreat La Forêt in May 2017: an all surpassing new lifestyle experience.

A year in the making, Spa Retreat La Forêt is a stunning sanctuary. The distinctive contemporary eco-chic architecture of the Retreat is set in a terraced garden that blends into the surrounding Hoge Kempen National Park, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior. Facilities include an indoor pool, panorama sauna, Turkish bath, infrared duo sauna, iced-water area, relaxation rooms and Spa Lounge. The Spa opens onto La Forêt garden with another relaxation zone, an outdoor Jacuzzi, meditation and Yoga spaces and a covered terrace. There are eight treatment rooms, a doctor’s room and various treatment facilities.

Spa Retreat La Forêt’s revolutionary treatment concept focuses on five principles: Reenergizing, Reharmonizing, Refreshing, Regeneration and Recovering. Treatments are tailored to the guest’s individual requirements with specialised plans for women, men and teenagers. Spa highlights include exclusively developed La Forêt signature treatments, and an extensive Spa menu also features select Shiseido treatments using their Future Solution LX and Bio-Performance lines. Guests with booked treatments are invited to use the Spa Lounge where light meals, healthy snacks, smoothies, natural juices and beauty food support the skin rejuvenation process.

Specialist dermatological consultations and minor cosmetic procedures are offered in conjunction with Dr Yolande Bullens-Goessens, one of Belgium’s leading authorities on anti-ageing and skin improvement. Working alongside a team of cosmetic experts, Dr Bullens has developed her own Doctors Brand range of medi-cosmetics exclusively for the Spa, La Forêt by Dr. Bullens, embracing four product lines: Anti-Aging, Anti-Acne, For Men and Body Thalasso.

This super-modern Spa includes Le Gym – a members-only fitness club – and 20 exceptionally elegant and comfortable rooms on two levels. The new La Forêt Ambience and La Forêt Expérience rooms offer sophistication and comfort in equal measure. La Forêt Ambiance rooms have a spacious loft-style feel with warm woods, soothing colours, bright bathrooms and glorious forest views from floor-to-ceiling picture windows open directly to nature.
